And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ” Ephesians 4:11-12 At El Shalom we believe that God has called all of His people to be actively engaged in serving the Lord Jesus Christ. We have been commissioned and equipped by Him to do the work of ministry. We seek to carry out the purpose of God by making disciples of Jesus Christ and by touching the world with the love of God through various ministries.

The Deacon’s ministry is responsible for;  bereavement assistance, benevolence assistance, encouraging discipleship and fellowship among the congregation.

The Worship team leads the church in singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs which glorify, praise, magnify, and give thanks to God, and which encourages, edifies, and invokes the people of God to worship, serve and give thanks to Him.

The Children ministry is to r spread the word of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ to our children. Our children ministry plans and promotes Christian growth among children of all age groups. We seek to promote and provide fun activities, interactive and bible based lessons for children in a Godly atmosphere.

One of the greatest acts of love is to present the gospel in hopes of bringing others to salvation. The Gospel is the good news of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus for our sins (1 Cor. 15:1-4). It is the message of what God has done for us, our deliverance from wrong and the punishment of the Law. This gospel is God’s wonderful invitation to be saved from sin for a beautiful new life through him. Our purpose is to go forth as witnesses of Jesus Christ and his kingdom.
